Entrance exam participants must participate in counseling sessions whose entry criteria relate to ranking structure.

The following job positions can be pursued by people who hold this diploma:

  • A Radiology Technologist operates imaging equipment to perform functions on X-ray machines as well as CT scanners and MRI machines. The healthcare professional stands patients properly for imaging scans while operating related equipment to maintain patient welfare as they generate examination images which doctors use for diagnostic analyses.
  • X-ray technicians operate X-ray machines to obtain pictures of bones and tissues while specializing in this task. The technologists maintain direct contact with patients throughout imaging examinations to safeguard their radiation exposure and achieve correct positions for the scans.
  • The role of an MRI technologist requires operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners for producing detailed pictures of internal body structures. The professionals help patients get ready for their procedures before checking that the images maintain their accuracy.
  • CT scan technologists guide operations of computed tomography (CT) scanners in order to generate body cross-section pictures. MRI technologists join forces with medical staff for imaging procedure planning along with implementation tasks.
  • Ultrasound Technicians known as diagnostic medical sonographers operate sonographic machines to produce imaging data that displays organs tissues and blood flow. These professionals help medical staff to identify different health conditions.
  • Radiology assistants provide support to radiologists and different medical staff members who need to maintain imaging procedure workflow. Their duties involve supporting patient preparation alongside equipment operation together with assisting in patient care activities.
  • Radiology supervisors operate in management positions to oversee department operations through staff management and equipment maintenance and quality control responsibilities.
